I just listened to your podcast about transitions and it reminded me of something I did with my grandson when he was little. He lives far away in Atlanta, Georgia, and so we would see him several times a year. He and I are both criers! So on the day, I was leaving it was always very difficult for him to hug me. Goodbye. we started a ritual that we would hug the night before I was leaving and then he didn’t have to hug me again when I was out the door.🩷
