Ken and Michelle head to Blackfoot, Idaho to visit with Brenda Stanley, MBA- Author, Journalist and Board President of the Idaho Children's Trust Fund. Brenda shares her story of having two-sets of twins, 20-months a part. The sudden death of her husband, a few years later required Brenda to lean on her "people" more than ever to support her children. She thinks back and wishes she had had the resources and understanding then of ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and the importance of connection for building resiliency.

 Brenda shares the Idaho Children's Trust Fund is not just about children. It's about supporting and connecting FAMILIES. 

How do we support families in our Community? 

And, how do we make parenting classes cool? Parenting classes not only strengthen parental capacity, but it is a great way for parents to connect with other parents.
